Hi! I’m Kate.

I’m the farmer florist and hands & heart behind farmette california. 

Carrying forward four generations of farming, I grew up with my hands in the soil. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are from walking the nursery aisles with my dad, where I’d scoop up mystery seeds that had fallen from their packets and tuck them into my pockets to plant later in my sandbox to grow. Watching those surprise seeds push through the surface felt like magic back then, and it still does today.

Farmette California was born from that same sense of curiosity, magic, and a wild dream to bring more beauty into the world. It's a love letter to my childhood self who believed that anything could grow if you just gave it attention, sunlight, and care.

Now, with each row I plant and every bouquet I create, I’m nurturing more than flowers or food — I’m growing a space for my community rooted in connection, creativity, and care.
